The NACC exam is one of the final milestones of your Personal Support Worker journey, and October also brings a First Aid & CPR training session. Here are this month’s dates, what you need to have in place, and how to walk in prepared.

Choosing your exam session
When you book, select your preferred session. Please arrive on time and be available for the full duration of the session you choose.
What is the NACC exam?
The NACC final examination is the standardized exam administered by the National Association of Career Colleges to confirm that PSW students have the knowledge to work safely and effectively. It’s written after both clinical placements are complete and draws on every module in the program, so it’s comprehensive by design.

How to prepare
Review module by module
The exam draws on the full curriculum, so steady review across all modules works better than cramming one topic.
Revisit your placement
Many exam scenarios reflect real situations you’ve already met on placement. Use them to connect theory with practice.
Ask questions now
If a topic still feels unclear, reach out to your instructor while you still have time to act on the answer.
Treat exam day like a shift
Get a full night’s sleep, arrive with time to spare, and bring the identification and materials you need.
