Information About KPI

At Alpha Career College, we are steadfast in our commitment to academic excellence, institutional transparency and organizational accountability. A central mechanism through which we evaluate our performance is the use of Key Performance Indicators (KPI). 

These indicators not only reflect the effectiveness of our programs but also serve as an essential framework for continuous quality enhancement, enabling us to align outcomes with the evolving expectations of students, employers and the broader community. 
 
Ministry-Required KPIs
Under the legislative framework of the Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005, the Superintendent of Career Colleges prescribes a formal policy directive establishing five Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for all Career Colleges.  
  • Graduation Rate 
  • Graduate Employment Rate 
  • Graduate Employment Rate in Field of Study 
  • Graduate Satisfaction Rate 
  • Employer Satisfaction Rate 

Each KPI serves as a comprehensive measure, providing meaningful insights into student success, program quality and the alignment of graduate skills with industry expectations and employer confidence. 
  • Graduation Rate - The percentage of students who successfully complete their program. 
  • Graduate Employment Rate -The percentage of graduates who are employed after finishing their program. 
  • Graduate Employment in Field of Study - The percentage of graduates employed in jobs related (or partly related) to their training. 
  • Graduate Satisfaction Rate - How satisfied graduates are with the training, support and overall experience at Alpha Career College. 
  • Employer Satisfaction Rate - How satisfied employers are with the skills, readiness and performance of Alpha Career College graduates.
