  • Is Alpha Career College a registered career college?

    Yes. Alpha Career College is a registered career college in Ontario and operates under the regulatory framework applicable to career colleges in the province. You can verify registered career colleges through Career Colleges Ontario: https://careercollegesontario.ca/


    We offer Ministry-approved vocational programs, as well as continuing education and short-duration programs that do not require individual program approval under applicable requirements.

  • How do I know Alpha Career College is legitimate?

    Alpha Career College is a registered career college in Ontario. We understand that choosing a school is an important decision, and students should feel comfortable asking questions and verifying information before enrolling.   • What makes Alpha Career College different?

  • How do I know which program is right for me?

    Our Admissions team can discuss your career interests, previous education and experience, goals, and the type of work you would like to pursue.  

    We can explain the differences between our programs so you can make an informed decision about which program best aligns with your goals.  

  • Do I need previous experience to enrol?

    This depends on the program. Several of our programs are suitable for individuals who are entering a new field or making a career change.  


    Each program has its own admission requirements. Admissions will review these requirements with you before enrollment.

  • Can I change careers through one of your programs?

    Yes. Many students pursue career college education because they are looking for a new career direction or want to strengthen their existing qualifications.  


    Our career-focused programs are designed to provide relevant education and practical skills that can help students prepare to pursue opportunities in their chosen field.  

  • How do I apply to Alpha Career College?

    Applying is easy. You can submit your application online through our website at https://www.alphacareercollege.com by clicking the Enrol Now button, or you can contact our Admissions Team by email at admissions@alphacareercollege.com for assistance with the application process.  


    Once you submit your application:  

    1. Admissions will review your application and contact you to discuss the program and confirm the admission requirements.  
    2. Submit your required documents, such as identification and proof of previous education, where applicable.  
    3. Review and sign your student contract once you have been accepted into the program.  
    4. Complete your registration and payment arrangements.  
    5. Receive your student login and orientation information, including details about your class schedule and program start date.  

    If you need help at any stage, our Admissions team is available to guide you through the process.

  • I have registered for a program. What happens next?

    Your next step is to check your email for your student contract. Please carefully review, sign, and submit the contract.  


    You will also receive information about accessing your student account and submitting required admission documents.  


    Our Admissions team is available to assist you if you have questions during the process. 

  • How do I submit my admission documents?

    Students can sign in to their student account and upload the required documents under the appropriate document section.  


    If you are not comfortable uploading your documents or experience difficulty, please contact our Admissions team. We will be happy to guide you through the process.  

  • What documents will I need to provide?

    Required documents vary by program and may include identification, proof of previous education, transcripts, or other program-specific documentation.  


    Admissions will provide you with a list of the documents required for your program.  

  • What happens if I am missing an admission document?

    Contact Admissions as soon as possible.  


    Our team can explain what is outstanding, whether we can accept an alternative document, and what you need to complete before you can proceed.

  • Can I enrol if I am in Canada as a visitor, student, or work permit holder?

    Your ability to study in Canada may depend on your immigration status, program length, and current federal immigration requirements.  


    Alpha Career College can provide information about our programs, including program length and admission requirements. However, we do not provide immigration advice.  


    If you are unsure whether your current immigration status allows you to study, you should confirm your eligibility with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) or a licensed immigration professional before enroling.  

  • Is Alpha Career College a Designated Learning Institution (DLI)?

    Alpha Career College is a registered career college in Ontario, but it is not currently a Designated Learning Institution (DLI).  


    DLI status is a separate designation associated with accepting international students who require a study permit.  

  • Are Alpha Career College programs eligible for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP)?

    No. Alpha Career College programs are not currently eligible for the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) program.  


    Students should not enrol in an Alpha Career College program expecting to become eligible for a PGWP upon completion.

  • What class options are available?

    Depending on the program and intake, Alpha Career College may offer online, hybrid, and in-person learning options.  


    Not every program is necessarily available in every format. Admissions will confirm the delivery method for your specific program and intake before enrolment.  

  • Can I study while I am working?

    Many students balance school with employment and family responsibilities.  


    Whether this is manageable depends on your program schedule, work schedule, assignments, practical requirements, and placement requirements, where applicable.  


    Admissions can review the schedule with you before you enrol so you understand the commitment.

  • What happens if I need help with my studies?

    We encourage students to ask for help early.  


    Depending on the issue, students may receive guidance from their instructor, Student Services, Academic Department, or other appropriate team members.  


    Our goal is to help students understand expectations, identify challenges early, and take the appropriate steps to stay on track.

  • What happens if I miss a class?

    Attendance is an important part of successfully completing your program.  


    Students are responsible for following their program's attendance requirements and communicating appropriately when they are absent. Certain programs, practical components, or placements may have specific attendance requirements that must be met. 

  • Will I have access to my course materials online?

    Students enroled in programs that use our online learning system will receive instructions for accessing their course materials, assignments, grades, and other learning resources.  


    If you have trouble accessing the system, contact the College for assistance.

Tuition, Funding, Costs and Payment Options

  • Do you accept OSAP?

    Alpha Career College is not currently an OSAP-designated school.  


    However, students may be eligible for other government-funded training programs, such as Better Jobs Ontario.  


    We also believe education should be accessible and affordable. That is why we offer flexible payment plans to help students manage the cost of their education over time. 


    Our Admissions team can work with you to explore available funding and payment options and help you find what works for you. 

  • Do you accept Better Jobs Ontario?

    Yes. Alpha Career College accepts students approved for Better Jobs Ontario funding for eligible programs.  


    Our Admissions team can provide the program and school information required to support your application. Eligibility and funding decisions are determined by the Better Jobs Ontario program.

  • Do you offer payment plans?

    Yes. We understand that paying for education can be a significant commitment, so Alpha Career College offers flexible payment options.  


    Admissions can explain the available payment arrangements for your program before you enrol.  

  • Are there additional costs besides tuition?

    This depends on the program.  


    Certain programs may require additional items such as certifications, screening, health documentation, uniforms, equipment, textbooks, or placement requirements.  


    Admissions will explain the applicable costs and what is included in your tuition before enrolment.

Academic Records and Program Completion 

  • What do I receive when I successfully complete my program?

    The credential you receive depends on the program.  


    Admissions will explain whether your program leads to a certificate or other credential, as well as the requirements you must successfully complete to graduate.

  • What happens if I do not successfully complete a course or program requirement?

    Students must meet the academic and other requirements established for their program.  


    If you are having difficulty, we encourage you to speak with your instructor or the appropriate College department before the issue becomes more difficult to resolve.  


    The College will explain the applicable academic policies and available next steps.

  • How do I obtain my transcript or proof of completion?

    Students can request official academic documents through the College's established records process.  


    Student Services can explain how to request a transcript, confirmation of completion, or other available academic documentation. 

  • When does Alpha Career College hold graduation?

    Alpha Career College generally holds a graduation ceremony once each year, usually during the summer.  


    Eligible graduates will receive information about the ceremony, registration, deadlines, and other graduation details in advance.

  • Who is eligible to participate in graduation?

    Students must successfully meet the applicable academic, financial, placement, examination, and other program requirements to graduate.  


    Specific requirements vary by program. 

  • Is there an additional fee to attend graduation?

    The standard graduation cost is included in tuition. The standard graduation fee is included in tuition. However, students who wish to participate in the graduation ceremony may be required to pay a gown rental fee. Additional details regarding graduation and gown rental will be provided closer to the ceremony date.


    Students will receive information about what is included and whether any optional items or services cost extra.  

  • What happens if I finish my program after the annual graduation ceremony?

    Completing your program and participating in the annual graduation ceremony are separate matters.  


    Once you successfully meet your program requirements, the College can process your completion according to its established procedures. You do not have to wait until the next ceremony for the College to recognize your academic completion.  

  • Am I guaranteed a job after completing my program?

    Employment is not guaranteed.  


    However, Alpha Career College's programs are designed to give students relevant knowledge and practical skills to prepare them for employment opportunities in their field.  


    Many of our graduates have successfully found employment after completing their programs. Employment depends on factors such as job availability, qualifications, experience, interview performance, location, availability to work, and individual employer requirements.  

  • Will Alpha Career College help me prepare for employment?

    Our goal is to help students become workplace ready.  


    Depending on the program and available services, students may receive guidance on workplace expectations, employment requirements, résumé preparation, interview readiness, and preparing to pursue opportunities after graduation. 

  • Can Alpha Career College guarantee that an employer will accept my certificate?

    No school can guarantee an individual employer's hiring decision.  


    Employer requirements vary by position, organization, industry, and location. Students should review the qualifications required for the specific jobs they are interested in.  


    Our Admissions team can explain what the program is designed to prepare you for and the credential you will receive.
